THE LOCAL CAFE AND RESTAURANT FOCUSES ON A FOOD PHILOSOPHY WHERE EVERYTHING IS MADE FROM SCRATCH, WITH FRESH INGREDIENTS, TEACHING OUR STUDENTS ABOUT THE VALUE OF CREATING FOOD AND BEVERAGE EXPERIENCES WITH CARE AND RESPECT.

Since 2016 The Local Cafe and Restaurant has been a community hub for Centennial College staff, students and members of the Scarborough community. We’re proud to offer both quick-service and full-service dining options of unparalleled value, and to provide a valuable experiential learning opportunity for students of the School of Hospitality, Tourism and Culinary Arts.

Our students are guided by faculty and staff that are industry professionals, and have the opportunity to build their skills every time a guest walks through our doors. We appreciate your ongoing support. In lieu of gratuities, we accept donations towards Centennial College student scholarships.
