Join us for lunch! The Local Cafe & Restaurant offers a thoughtfully crafted menu featuring house-made dishes prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients. From comforting classics like bolognese rigatoni and gourmet burgers to vegetarian, vegan, halal, and gluten-free options, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Each meal is complemented by house-made bread, soup of the day, a beverage, and a rotating dessert—making The Local a welcoming spot for casual lunches, campus gatherings, and memorable meals.
Reservations are recommended, and walk-in guests are accepted based on availability. Please note that our restaurant is an experiential learning classroom, and we appreciate your understanding as our faculty and staff aim to balance your experience as a guest while teaching our students.

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with an intimate, one-night-only dining experience centered around oysters, wine, and connection.
The evening begins with a live oyster demonstration and tasting led by Chef Patrick McMurray, internationally known as ShuckerPaddy. Guests will enjoy freshly shucked oysters paired with a signature mocktail, while Patrick shares what makes each oyster unique from flavor and texture to how best to enjoy them.
After the oyster experience, guests will be seated for a timed, three-course dinner, designed to let everyone relax and savor the evening together. A complimentary glass of wine per guest will be served with the first course, thoughtfully selected to complement the menu.
